Culinary Workshop That Stirred Up Team Spirit at TWG

In June, part of the Twin Win Games team came together in Kyiv for something different. Not a strategy session. Not a project sprint. A culinary workshop.

It was a hands-on, off-screen moment to reconnect. In a fully remote work environment, these moments matter. They ground collaboration in something real, human, and memorable.

Working Side by Side

Cooking together turned out to be more than a fun activity. It became a live demonstration of how we operate as a team, through communication, shared responsibility, and adaptability. From prepping ingredients to plating dishes, we moved naturally into roles, supported one another, and delivered an experience together. Just like in our production pipelines.

This wasn’t just about food. It was about recognizing the way we think, react, and solve problems as a group. It’s easy to collaborate when things go smoothly. It’s valuable when collaboration holds up under pressure, even if that pressure is just a flaming sauté pan.

What the Team Shared

“It was a rare chance to see everyone in person. That kind of connection matters for my work and communication.”

“I wasn’t sure I’d enjoy cooking, but the setup made it easy. And working together made it meaningful.”

“The atmosphere was relaxed but focused. The outcome wasn’t just great food, it was a stronger sense of team.”

“I’m not a natural in the kitchen, but I didn’t feel out of place. That says a lot about how the team operates.”

Reinforcing What Drives Us

Team-building isn’t a checkbox. For us, it’s a chance to reinforce what drives the quality of our delivery, clarity in communication, trust in collaboration, and alignment across roles.

This workshop did exactly that. It reminded us that the strength of our internal culture is reflected in the partnerships and products we build. Whether it’s designing a new game or launching a client feature, our process is built on the same ingredients: shared intent, fast feedback, and a high standard for results.

Remote culture works best when it’s supported by real relationships. And those are built one moment at a time.
