OG: In a market with dozens of game development studios, what would you say is TwinWin Games the strongest competitive advantage?

Natalia: We have 10 years of experience in the production of different games products + over 100 people (artists/developers/QAs/Producers). We offer not just service but the development of ready products — Product as a Service. To add, we share our expertise in creating the products.

OG: Over the next five years, the online gambling market in North America is expected to register a CAGR of 11.78%. Casino gambling has been one of the fastest-growing types of gambling with the rise of technology, virtual reality, blockchain, and mobile platforms. With more regions regulating and a steady stream of new products developing, what can we expect in 2023?

Natalia: I would define 3 trends that I see at the moment. One of the upward trends is increasing demand for top-notch quality content Сompanies are looking to create more content with good quality within a short timeline to stay competitive. They are looking for partners who can deliver such products.

The second trend is: Companies are looking to expand their portfolio with other products. If several years ago, the biggest demand was for slot games; now, more and more companies are looking to add new types of games into their portfolio: table games — blackjack, roulette, keno games, bingo games, and others. The latest hit is crash games. Our team worked on all of those games. We know the specifics of each game and have the knowledge and resources to cover their development from start to finish.

And one more trend is that companies are looking to have partners who are able to deliver ready-to-be-released products. This is what our team can help with. If earlier we did a lot of partial development like art production or client-side development, now we are offering our client to take ownership of product development. Our team is 10 years in the market, and we have a vast knowledge of how the product should be made.

We develop more than 30 games per year for our clients. There is a well-set-up process starting from the first communication with the client and finishing the code handover. The management team, producers, and project managers who take the leading role in creating the product are very experienced. It is a very complex internal process that we put in place to make it an easy process for a customer.

 

OG: Overall, the industry is continuing to evolve, and it will be interesting to see how these trends play out in the coming year. Based on the trends you see, what is TwinWin Games’ development strategy? Where do you plan to focus your attention?

Natalia: Based on our strategy, we will be further strengthening our production team with experienced game producers, product owners, art directors, and developers to offer our clients and partners the best possible services.

At the moment, we are in the process of implementing new production processes with our current clients. We create and establish the road maps for next year and continue to build a team that is able to share its expertise in an effective way.

Additionally, we also work on improving our framework to make it more universal for different types of projects as well as adding components that will simplify and speed up production. We have recognized AI usage in our processes to make production more cost-effective. There are a lot of things that are going on, in fact.

 

OG: You mentioned that one of your competitive advantages is providing Product as a Service. Can you please elaborate more on what it means and who might be your customer?

Natalia: Product, as a service for our clients, means that companies come to us with requests to receive ready products without a need to get much into details during the development process. It might be just the producer with a roadmap and brief ideas on the games. We cover all development, including the creative part, technical specification, production, and giving products for certification.

As to the client’s profile:

OG: 2022 and 2023 are challenging years for all Ukrainian startups and small businesses. Even so, TwinWin Games continues to grow. What are the crucial keys to your business model that let you be stable due to the current situation in Ukraine and the rest of Europe?

Natalia: First of all, I wanted to mention people’s dedication and trust. Work as a team and support each other. I really wanted to thank people and clients. Not to forget, we have a good management structure and set processes.

 

OG: Looking to the future, what is the next TwinWin Games planning?

Natalia: Our goal is to develop partnerships with current partners and clients. We want to help them to grow their business. Also, we plan to grow our expertise in the casual games market with growing expertise in Unity development. And on top of that, we plan to start production of our own products with partners.

Natalia: Life is challenging, and it makes it interesting and forces us to develop and go beyond what we initially thought we could do. We are challenged by war, pandemics, economic crises, or any other big or small things which happen all the time. The important thing is to stay focused on your goals and strategies. This is what helps to overcome the challenges and, step by step, come to success.
We have a great team and great clients, and we are developing amazing products which people like. Can it be called a success? I think, yes. But we don’t want to stop.

Natalia: I think it would be Casual games, e-learning, and education. Overall, I think that studying should be engaging and interesting.
